Vinelife Churches is a primary relational affiliation and covering;
Vinelife Churches is the member's primary source of accountability;
Vinelife Churches leadership exists to provide encouragement, blessing, and a relational networking for the building up of its members;
Vinelife Churches makes every effort to cross denominational, generational and cultural lines in order to increase and promote blessing and unity in the global Body of Christ;
Vinelife Churches is not a top-down, controlling, pyramid structure; rather,
Vinelife Churches local churches are autonomous, self-governed entities. The Leaders of Vinelife Churches readily provides counsel when asked but will not meddle or offer unsolicited advice.
Relationship. Relationship is a two-way vehicle through which pastors and churches can serve one another. We need peers who know and love us, who will both listen to us and speak into our lives.
Pressing On. Through mutual challenge, input, and testimonies of what God is doing with individual members, encouragement and blessing will keep us moving on and pressing in to the life in the Holy Spirit.
Pastoral Care. We all need interaction, feedback and loving input. Because ministry can be a lonely place, a family or family of churches and ministries is a safe place where members can be heard, loved and receive prayer and healing.
Training. We as a body want to encourage, equip and mobilize the saints for their personal development and ministry, including service, evangelism, church planting and missions. We are prepared to give and receive from each other what we have learned and possess and in turn network and cooperate in specific areas of ministry.
Credibility. This network of churches is designed to provide an atmosphere of protection where we can maintain our identities and fulfil our callings.
Networking Opportunities. Though the Vinelife Churches principally gather together on a monthly basis, there will be other opportunities to gather for conferences and training events.
Accountability. We need people who can ask direct questions about personal integrity, family life and the health of our churches; as well as inspire us to plunge deeper into the Lord and His purposes for our lives. While we may also welcome occasional guidance in areas of doctrine, integrity and financial responsibility, we recognise the greater long term benefits of inspiration and motivation. We all need spiritual covering.
